A checkpoint that works well for Nanshan on a weekday morning may be a poor choice for Longgang late at night. Ask which vehicle checkpoint fits this destination, departure time, permit and passenger group today.

Checked on 5 September 2026 against the Hong Kong Immigration Department control-point hours, which list Lok Ma Chau and the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge as 24-hour control points; Shenzhen Bay passenger and private-car clearance runs 06:30–24:00, while Heung Yuen Wai runs 07:00–22:00. Shenzhen Bay’s 24-hour goods clearance does not mean round-the-clock passenger clearance. Recheck official hours and temporary arrangements before travel; a booking cannot override them.

A good operator explains the expected route and its reasoning without pretending to control the queue. “Fastest guaranteed” and “always stay in the car” are warning signs because the authorities and live conditions make the final call.

A planning example, not a completed customer trip: “12 September, 08:00 pickup at the hotel vehicle entrance in Tsim Sha Tsui; four adult Hong Kong residents, with applicable Mainland travel-document categories to be checked separately; two large cases; arrival required at a Longgang factory by 11:30.” With that information, the operator can explain the expected vehicle checkpoint and whether the deadline is sensible. “Hong Kong to Shenzhen tomorrow” cannot support the same answer.
