What this means
How CrossBorder MPV handles trip enquiries, traffic attribution, analytics and browser storage, and how to contact us about your information.
Trip enquiries: contact details, pickup and drop-off addresses, dates, flights, passenger and luggage counts, and child-seat requests are stored in our enquiry database to reply, prepare quotations and coordinate bookings.
Business record retention: CrossBorder MPV currently retains enquiry records, booking records and business emails indefinitely, without a scheduled deletion date. This describes our own records, not the retention settings of Google or other service providers. You can contact us to request correction or deletion.
Attribution: campaign parameters, landing pages, referring pages and Google click identifiers help identify how visitors reached the site. Available Analytics client and session identifiers can be saved with an enquiry.
Analytics and advertising: crossbordermpv.com uses Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure page visits, contact clicks and enquiry conversions. When Google tags load, information is sent to Google; this can include the page URL, IP address and cookie identifiers.
Google Analytics retention: as checked on 5 September 2026, the property is set to retain event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months, with the user-data retention period reset on new activity. These controls do not apply to most standard aggregated reports and do not describe Google Ads retention.
Cookie choices: Google Analytics and Google Ads are off until you separately allow them in the cookie panel. You may reject both and still contact us or book. Google Ads consent covers advertising measurement and personalised advertising. Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to change or withdraw your choices; changing a choice may reload the page.
Choice records: a necessary first-party cookie remembers your choice for up to 180 days. We record the choices, time and notice version on our server and link the choice to an enquiry when applicable, so future enquiry-status analytics can stop after withdrawal. We do not send pre-consent events retrospectively. Withdrawal stops future optional tracking; it does not automatically delete data already sent to Google or our business records. Contact us about deletion. Clearing the choice cookie removes this browser’s link to its previous choice record.
Browser storage: language preferences use localStorage and a language cookie with a one-year maximum age. Attribution uses sessionStorage. The site sets no expiry for the localStorage language preference; browser storage lifetimes do not determine how long submitted enquiry records are kept.
Abuse prevention: the enquiry and privacy-choice endpoints can store a shortened hash derived from the client IP address and request counts to limit repeated submissions. The counting window is not a record-deletion deadline. A localStorage timestamp notifies other open tabs when your privacy choice changes.
Email notifications: when configured, enquiry contact and itinerary details and some attribution information are sent through Resend to the business notification mailbox.
Contact and requests: WhatsApp and WeChat communications use those external platforms. To request correction or deletion of information held by CrossBorder MPV, contact us through the published WhatsApp or WeChat channel.
Browser controls: you can use your browser settings to clear or restrict cookies and site storage. Clearing browser data does not delete an enquiry already submitted to us or messages held on external platforms.
