The useful message contains the driver contact, vehicle colour and identifier, passenger name, airport pickup level or zone, and the instruction for calling the vehicle forward. Take a screenshot before flying. Airport traffic control may change the exact bay, so use the day-of-travel message rather than an old guide image.

Do not call the vehicle while one suitcase is still missing
Airport pickup bays have limited stopping time. In a group, appoint one person to speak with the driver and wait until every passenger and bag is together. Before boarding, match the driver name or phone, vehicle make and colour, and the identifier in the booking thread. A stranger knowing “Shenzhen” is not proof that it is your car.

If you are lost, stop walking
Stand beside a clearly signed indoor landmark, photograph the sign and send the visible level, door or shop name. Do not keep changing floors while the driver is trying to find you. If mobile data fails, connect to airport Wi-Fi before leaving the terminal building.

If the person booking is not the person travelling
Give the travelling passenger—not only the remote booker—the accepted meeting message. Confirm who can approve a changed flight, destination or pickup arrangement if the organiser will be asleep or unreachable.
If a voice call in English or Chinese would be difficult, save a message the passenger can show with the driver name, vehicle details and destination. Name a reachable coordinating contact before travel; a translated website does not imply a driver speaks every site language.
